More from Day 3

A sombre start buying a wreath at the coffin shop. When we arrived on site John and Margaret presented it, with some financial contributions to the bereaved family and knelt and paid their respects in the African fashion.

Then building until 11am when we left site to allow the funeral ceremony to take place under a large fig tree.

A stunning afternoon visiting 8 occupied houses paid for by Touchstone, including Estina and Regina's house in Dyson village.

Was fantastic to meet up again with Estina and Regina and their immediate and wider families and friends and very, very emotional for John.

We met the village chief, unusually a lady, who is Royalty in Malawi and she immediately remembered John from last year. And burst out laughing!!!

Visit to the school and CBO tomorrow morning then back on the build.
